Galaxy Unpacked new releases

On August 10th, Samsung hosted their Galaxy Unpacked event, where the latest Samsung mobile products were announced.

Announced were the new Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4, as well as a new range of watches and the release of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, all of which are set to arrive in Australia on September 2nd, with preorders being open for the new Z Series phones on August 12th.

The new Galaxy Z range shows some improvements over the previous generation of Z series devices. Both the phones have been released with a stylish new look, upgraded performance, and a flagship camera to complement.

Pricing and Availability

Galaxy Unpacked Z Flip4

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 starts at a storage size of 128GB with a price of $ AUD 1,499 and comes in Samsung’s Bora Purple, Graphite, Pink Gold, and Blue as well as bespoke editions, which can be found on the Samsung website.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 starts at 256GB with no option for 128GB, but now with the size of photos and the massive amount of content people store on their phones. I don’t see this as a bad thing. Pricing starts at $2,499 AUD and comes in 4 colours, Grey Green, Phantom Black, Beige, and the Samsung online exclusive, Burgandy.

Galaxy Unpacked Watch5 Pro

As mentioned above, launched alongside the Galaxy Z Series phones are the Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro.

The Galaxy Watch5 Pro is an impressive smartwatch with a plethora of features for the common outdoorsy person to take advantage of. Launching alongside it is the Watch5, which offers a contemporary watch look with all the features to be a handy accessory.

Both watches come in a range of colours and two sizes to fit all.

And finally, the last to be launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event is the Galaxy Buds2 Pro.

Cleb's Tech is a technology-focused blog, owned and operated by me, Caleb! I am currently doing a degree in IT, Working on my CCNA, and also working full-time at Telstra. I started Cleb's Tech at the late end of 2017 and initially, it was a blog all about making electronics and DIYing, but soon had a change in style when I had some reviews come my way. And ever since, Cleb's Tech has always been about bringing you the latest coverage on new tech & gadgets and honest reviews. While it has been around since 2017, There was a lapse during 2021 where I had to deal with some family issues causing me to abandon Cleb's Tech basically. And as of August 2022, it is being rebuilt from the ground up! So you may see a change in writing style, content, etc. If you want to connect with me personally, send an email or head over to my LinkedIn page!
